Floral Fancies

Visiting a garden centre has always been a favourite past time of mine. We are lucky enough to live in an area with three fantastic floral, pet and gift purveyors in the local vicinity and this weekend we made the most of this!

I finally bought and constructed a pretty hanging basket to adorn our wrought iron bracket. This little space has really come together fantastically.

Pansies were an obvious choice as I am increasingly attracted by their sweet smiles.

Ranunculus... We came away with three of these inspiring flowers. The paper like petals and wondrous colours add a great splash to the garden.

Pots, pots, pots.

The little pink primroses were only 50 pence each! A bargain that was too good to pass up!

To fill an awkward space we decided upon a rockery. These are the first additions to this new venture including one named after Winston Churchill.

This pretty little Azalea tree was an Easter present. It sits proudly on our bedroom windowsill.

Hopefully, as the weather improves, there will be a few more additions to our green space. This past weekend crossed off a couple of my garden plans but I look forward to endeavouring upon the rest of them.
